Once you do that, don't go into Options in the launcher 'cause it'll overwrite your changes. ini file, I had to manually change the H and W to 10, respectively (my screens resolution). ini file in the Documents/My Games/Fallout 4 folder.
Basically, I ended up having to change the resolution in my. WIth that said, I still had the same issue: Black screen. I have a high-end MSi gaming rig that blows away the minimum and recommended specs. It worked for me and may work for you if you're experiencing what I was (a black screen): This will let you run the game in windowed-fullscreen, borderless mode at your resolution. ini file (not sure which one, I can't remember, but I added a link below that indicates which one). If you're having a black screen after the launcher disappears, try this solution.
