

These lists of mods are specifically selected to support a specific roleplaying experience with a fresh, newly made character, and I'd really recommend sticking within the paradigm that you've defined unless it makes in-character sense for you to run off and do something unrelated for a while.

So, I've decided to share what some of my favourite playthroughs have used, in the hopes that it will help someone else have as much fun as I did with them. However, to be honest, I've find that my best and most memorable experiences in Skyrim are ones where I define a specific type of character I wanted to play, then install mods to support that particular experience. In fact, my current (mostly stable.) Skyrim install has 232 mods in its loadout. So, there have been a lot of Skyrim mod recommendation threads over the years.
